Microsoft assures publishers as ads ramp up in AI-powered Bing

Blog by Emilee Nielsen.

After discovering this ad first hand a few months ago I have been able to see how crazy this platform really is. If you don't know what AI is then I am here to explain. Its is designed to deliver more personalized and relevant ads to users, which in turn will lead to higher engagement rates and click-throughs. By using machine learning algorithms, Bing will be able to better understand user intent and deliver ads that are more likely to be of interest to them.

The organization that is in charge of this platform is  Microsoft. Microsoft has also responded by assuring publishers that the new system will actually lead to increased revenue opportunities, as the more personalized and relevant ads will result in higher click-through rates and increased revenue per click. The issue before was that companies didn't believe that it would be helpful for a online robot to write and produce ads for them.

If I was in their shoes I would definitely try out the new AI technology for a bunch of different reasons. One being that it is a low cost or possibly even free so why not! Another reason is maybe even if it doesn't work out or the company doesn't like the idea at least they could get inspired from it!

I think the marketing approach is always spot on from Microsoft but to be fair they have a huge amount of support and members that could review it before thew release. What I really like about the Open AI website is there is a very clean and nice layout. It is simple and easy to use with just a few buttons. They also have the "are you a robot" feature to make sure there is nothing suspicious going on. I really do believe this is the future and this will be know around the world sooner or later.  The only downfall I see happening is an AI detector that is made to tell if chat AI has been generated or not. This is mainly for high school or college students that use this AI technology to write different types of essays and such.

Overall, Microsoft's new AI-powered Bing advertising platform is a positive development for both advertisers and publishers. By delivering more personalized and relevant ads in a way that prioritizes user experience, the platform is likely to lead to increased revenue opportunities for publishers and higher return on investment for advertisers.

I learned a lot with not only this blog post but also the background and real purpose for the AI platform. Although its a bit of a mind twist that something can be generated in what ever your mind wants it to b e with just a couple words is crazy. Its amazing to really know a robot can make an almost perfect post, picture, song, or even a paper! I do encourage that you guys at least visit the site and look for yourself the talent that this new technology holds and see how it works. The first link is the website itself and the other link is the article reviewing it.
